I’d like to say “Hi!” to the community and start with a tagging question.
I’d like to model parking lots that serve as Park & Ride facility for public transport. Here are my observations and questions so far.
I found entities like this that misses a name tag. I reckon, there shall be at least a name tag, right?
If the entity has a name, is there a convention how to build the name? So far, I found names like this: “P+R”, “P&R”, “P+R ”, “ P+R” and so on. Any best practice how to build the name?
Is a general tag like park_ride=yes
or a specific tag like park_ride=bus;tram
preferred?
According to the wiki: Key:park_ride
this tag shall be used for public transportation. Shall it also be used for commuter car parks like this?
How to tag a parking lot if I do not know if it is used to public transport or something else?
How to tag a parking lot if I do not know if it is used to public transport or hiking?
Any thoughts on this topic are appreciated. Cheers!
