Came across an edit where a mapper merged two existing noexit=yes
nodes that were used to indicate two dead-end streets separated by a visible wall.
From my understanding of the wiki, noexit=yes
nodes should be located at the end of a road segment, hence should not be interconnected with other road segments. The gap visualization is useful for renderers and allows more details to be added at a later stage (like a wall).
Surprisingly, no JOSM validations errors are thrown. Is this combined noexit=yes interconnecting multiple road segments valid for routing purposes?
What’s the general tagging recommendation here?
