A new question for y’all, related somewhat to How useful is fragmented mapping of street parking in a residential area?
I’d been recently pondering how to go about tagging street-side parking in my city. If I were to follow the schema according to Street parking - OpenStreetMap Wiki, here’s what but one sole block’s worth of parking tagging would look like:
Broken up into five little chunks, with eyewateringly complicated tagging. Is this really the preferred way of doing it?
EDIT: I just realized I missed tagging the middle section with “parking:left:zone=1537”, and the second from the right with “parking:left:zone=1538”, lol…
